8 week curriculum, weekly workshop that introduces teens/youth to the emotional, mental and psychological skills and tools to help build mental resiliency. This curriculum is mandatory for all program participants.
Connecting teen/young adults with Mentors, Employers & Caring Adults that can provide knowledge, guidance and training. Both paid and non-paid internships to bridge the gap between school and real-world experience.
Introducing program participants to nature and outdoor education via hiking, camping and backpacking trips. As well as providing opportunities for positive and healthy recreational adventures and experiences, including sports and physical fitness.
Vida Center aims to bring back (especially among our teens and young adults), the lost art of social dancing and enjoyment of music in community. Weekly dance class and music jams which will culminate in our annual and largest fundraiser, our very own...
Helping all program participants explore, discover and nurture their gifts, passions, talents and/or interests. Then connecting them to people and organizations in their communities where they can share it.
Our future and grandest vision is making accessible to our communities and especially to our youth/young adults, healing resources and modalities (both traditional and alternative) that can assist in achieving mental and physical health and emotional and psychological well-being. Through this healing we can enjoy the journey of life more fully, we can practice Conscious Living and Conscious Parenting and we can not only Live, Succeed and Thrive but also contribute to the continual betterment of Humanity.
